New Canaan Mounted Troop

The site’s mission is to help drive awareness and donations for New Canaan Mounted Troop, a 501c3 not-for profit. I made it easy to find and fall in love with one of the non-profit’s eighteen horses. And then, with just a little more effort, adopt one. Each horse has a customized profile with photo gallery.

Todd did an outstanding job articulating our vision and his design work conveyed the spirit of the organization really well.  The site allows for a variety of content but at the same time is simple, fun and easy to navigate. He was also very helpful with regard to providing recommendations for best practices and functionality to meet our business goals.

Andrew Meier

To promote his new nonfiction book, The Lost Spy, Andrew Meier needed a site that featured the atmosphere of the world of international espionage but also showcased his solid detective work that revealed the story of Isaiah Oggins, one of the first Americans to ever spy for the Soviet Union.

Todd is a master.  He crafted the site for THE LOST SPY with creativity, enthusiasm and ultimate flexibility.  He understands writers—and the book world—unlike any Web designer I’ve met.

In the wake of writing her first book, The Smart Cookies’ Guide to Making More Dough, Jennifer Barrett needed a site to cement herself as an expert in personal finance, but in a fun, personable way that represented her belief that anyone can take charge of their money matters.

Todd is a true professional. It was a pleasure to work with him on my website. He’s honest, reliable, and charges a very reasonable price for his services. He’s also got a great eye for what works—and what doesn’t—on a site. And he’s willing to spend a lot of time and effort to make sure you get it just right. I was very pleased with the final product.

Shoot the Messenger

Another creation by The Daily Show‘s Lizz Winstead, “Shoot the Messenger” goes behind the scenes of “Wake Up World,” America’s worst morning show. The web home for the show was built entirely in Expression Engine for frequent updates and cross-linking of content.

Tom Reiss

I redesigned Samuel Johnson Prize-winning author Tom Reiss’s site for his critically-acclaimed biography The Orientalist. The new site makes it easier for visitors to get involved in the life of Lev Nussimbaum, the subject of The Orientalist. I also created for Tom Reiss a DVD featuring his press appearances to help sell his next non-fiction book.

Anita Rosenberg

I redesigned feng shui consultant Anita Rosenberg’s website to better reflect her Asian influences and display her best asset, herself.  I also helped the “Hollywood House Whisperer” establish a web store for her burgeoning magic candle business.

Mike Sacks

Humor writer Mike Sacks needed a web home to feature his work from magazines such as Esquire, Salon, Vanity Fair, McSweeneys and The New Yorker. Mike’s work is displayed cleanly with small touches of graphic whimsy. I also built the site for his upcoming book, And Here’s the Kicker, featuring interviews with more than 20 humor writers.
